This app is completely useless! It borders on being malware itself, and from a company I used to trust!

First and foremost, Microsoft's windows phone is a closed OS meaning anything that gets in the marketplace will be scrutunized, reviewed by Microsoft. Most websites are safe and requires ActiveX to auto download 'viruses' Windows phone is not a PC, its not an Android phone.. So AVG, we don't need this *** and keep it in Android os phones with the rest of your anti virus programs. That open source needs you more than we do. This is just creating a bad image for Windows as it has always been the Virus magnet, blue screen of death OS that everyone always makes fun of. Get the hell outta here AVG. No on wants you.

Just found out this stores data. Uninstalling now. Might break Microsoft marketplace rules.

Useless. Due to the isolation of apps and their memory from the OS, you can't really make an antivirus. According to Rafael Rivera, the only things it looks for is specific strings, so the only time it will work is when you have a picture or song named the same as a particular string in their definitions. This also collects phone data and sends it back to AVG. Currently being looked into by Microsoft.

Doesn't check for anything at this point. However it does take all your location and personal info it can get at and sends it to avg with no way for disabling that which is a violation of the app guidelines. This means this is just spyware.
