1800PocketPC is a beautifully designed newsreader to keep up with news and reviews from two of the best independent web portals dedicated to Windows Phone.

The welcome page is nicely oranized in a Panorama view, offering the latest news story (which you can pick from a category of your choice), a list of the most recent WP7 news & game reviews, and finally a menu that lets you jump to a few more sections and provides contact info. All content comes from 1800PocketPC.com and its sister site BestWP7Games.com, that cover Windows Phone apps and games respectively.

The UI/UX is clear and intuitive, the app is smooth and resposive, and the integrated achivements are a nice touch too: they won't contribute to your Xbox Live Gamerscore, but they can keep you entertained in the event that today's news stories won't.

All in all this app is a great way to bring a portal (two, actually) on a mobile device, and we can't really find any cons in it.
