Security Toolkit by venetasoft is a pretty unique app that can turn your device into a mobile security and surveillance system. It includes a few "modules" (also available as separate apps from the Windows Phone marketplace), each with its unique features and capabilities.

For example, it can broadcast video and audio streams to a PC on the same network. The phone will be auto-detected by the freely available PC console, which is able to show and record the audio/video stream. Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way round, so you can't control a webcam from the device. We don't know if that would be technically possible, but it would surely be a great addition to the app.

Security Toolkit really stands out once you try out its capabilities with motion and sound detection. The Surveillance Camera, and Intrusion Alarm modes are automatically activated by motion or sound. The first one will start recording from the integrated Windows Phone camera and Microphone, while the other one has the option to trigger an alarm. The are a few alarm sounds included in the app, or you can make your own. You also have the option to adjust the threshold of the motion and audio detection, so that it doesn't trigger too easily.
