Review: Birdsong by Red Badger Consulting

Birdsong is a feature packed Twitter client for Windows Phone 7, and most likely the best you can get on your device at the moment. Read on to see what made us slightly change our mind on the Beezz Twitter client, and why Birdsong is now our client of choice.
The amount of features you get with Birdsong is amazing: it looks like all the basic features are there, with a few more extras (Bing maps integration, threaded conversations, multiple accounts support, high performance infinite scrolling being the most notable). It's an incredibly quick and smooth app, well organized in a clean interface, which nicely implements a perfect example of a Metro UI/UX.
The main page is organized in a pivot with all your timelines, which can show your friends' tweets, replies, direct messages, or searches. You can add, remove, or reorder timelines and customize your start screen to fit your needs.
As of version 1.4, the developer has added support for Live Tile and push notifications, two features that every Windows Phone user loves. Notifications get to you with perfect timing (you'll need, of course, an active and stable network connection) and the Live Tile even shows what kind of message you just got (reply, DM etc..)
To wrap it up, if you're still looking for a Twitter client on your Windows Phone, we suggest you to go with Birdsong. If you already have a favorite, give it a try.
